Partnership of the UCC Pleasant Hill congregation in Tennessee with the Center Lavastida. The Cuba-Seminar 2016

As a continuation of the intense work of Rev. Ted Braun, of the United Church of Christ in USA, who during 36 years brought more than 400 North Americans to visit Cuba, nos the Rev. Tom Warren, from Peace UCC in Greensboro, N.C., has re-edited the experience bringing 21 brothers and sisters to get to know Cuba and its life. Besides visiting Havana and Matanzas, the group visited the ¨Los Pinos Nuevos¨Seminary, near Placetas, V.C., and then travelled to visit the Lavastida Center in Santiago de Cuba.

On Sunday 31st of January we celebrated a precious lithurgy of partnership of the UCC Pleasant Hill congregation in Tennessee with the Center, as well as the partnership of the Cuba-Seminar with the Center to be the contact place in our region for future editions of the Seminar. We hope this will happen each month of January.
